Pressure switch control

Warning: Before adjustment, make sure that the voltage is switched off.
Remove the lid, locate the adjustment bolt and a pressure difference between the screw B (see Fig. 1).

Start-up of pressure: pressure reduction, turn a screw clockwise. Pressure
A building, turn the screw clockwise. The differential pressure area remains unchanged. Turn
pump and pressure gauge, check support power on / off pressure.

Off-pressure determination:
Pressure reducing turn screw B clockwise. Increase pressure, turn screw B by
clockwise. The differential pressure range narrows or expands, respectively. Turn on the pump and
help check the gauge on / off pressure. If necessary, repeat the determination of the pressure
procedures, until you reach the required result.

Before connecting the power supply voltage, pressure switches must be mounted in a cap!
In order to reduce pressure fluctuations in the water distribution system can reduce the differential screw B
pressure area.
The recommended system pressure difference between the minimum and maximum is 1.5 to 2 bar.

Pressure relay adjustment

Warning: Before making any adjustment, make sure power is off.

Take off the cover, locate adjustment screw A and pressure difference screw B (see Figure 1)

To set the turn-on pressureTo decrease pressure, turn screw A counter clockwise. To increase pressure, turn screw A clockwise. Area of differential pressure remains unchanged. Turn on the pump and check turn-on and turn-off pressures by using a manometer.

To set the turn-off pressure:

To decrease pressure, turn screw B counter clockwise. To increase pressure, turn screw B clockwise. Area of differential pressure expands or shrinks accordingly. Turn on the pump and check turn-on and turn-off pressures by using a manometer. If necessary, repeat pressure setting procedures until the desired result is achieved.

Before turning on the power supply, pressure relay cover must be put on!

To reduce pressure fluctuation in plumbing system, you can use screw B to decrease area of differential pressure.

Recommended presure difference between minimum and maximum in the system is 1,5-2 bar.

Pump axis adjustment

Benefit of pump axis adjustment for electric motor and pump.

Cavitation

The lowest pressure forms at inflow to scoop wheel. Due to this under certain conditions liquid may start boiling. The bubbles (cavities) that have formed enter the scoop wheel and get compressed there. This compression of bubbles is called cavitation. During cavitation a high pressure at locations of compression of bubbles is formed. This phenomenon may cause great damage to pump parts: scoop wheel, bearings, etc.

Cavitation usually is the consequence of inappropriate selection of the pump.

Cavitation causes damage to scoop wheels by eroding the material and connections.
